A contract to sell is a contract where the seller agrees to sell the property to the buyer, but the property has not yet been transferred. The contract to sell is a valid contract, and the seller is bound to sell the property to the buyer. The buyer is also bound to purchase the property from the seller. The contract to sell can be oral or written, but it must be in writing if the property is worth more than Rs. 100.
