Section 8 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, states that 'An order to pay out of a particular fund is not an unconditional order, and therefore is not a bill of exchange.' The section further explains that 'An instrument expressed to be payable out of a particular fund is not a bill of exchange, unless such fund is provided for in the instrument itself.'
