धारा 1(1) This Act may be called the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.धारा 2In this Sanhita, unless the context otherwise requires,––धारा 3(1) Throughout this Sanhita every definition of an offence, every penal provision,धारा 4The punishments to which offenders are liable under the provisions of this Sanhitaधारा 5The appropriate Government may, without the consent of the offender, commuteधारा 6In calculating fractions of terms of punishment, imprisonment for life shall beधारा 7In every case in which an offender is punishable with imprisonment which may beधारा 8(1) Where no sum is expressed to which a fine may extend, the amount of fine toधारा 9(1) Where anything which is an offence is made up of parts, any of which parts isधारा 10In all cases in which judgment is given that a person is 22Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, byधारा 23Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, is, byधारा 24In cases where an act done is not an offence unless done with a particular knowledgeधारा 25Nothing which is not intended to cause death, or grievous hurt, and which is notधारा 26Nothing, which is not intended to cause death, is an offence by reason of any harmधारा 27Nothing which is done in good faith for the benefit of a person under twelve yearsधारा 28A consent is not such a consent as is intended by any section of this Sanhita,–– Consentधारा 29The exceptions in sections 25, 26 and 27 do not extend to acts which are offencesधारा 30Nothing is an offence by reason of any harm which it may cause to a person forधारा 31No communication made in good faith is an offence by reason of any harm to theधारा 32Except murder, and offences against the State punishable with death, nothing is anधारा 33Nothing is an agree with the common object to do, or cause to beधारा 62Whoever attempts to commit an offence punishable by this Sanhita withधारा 63A man is said to commit “rape” if he—धारा 64(1) Whoever, except in act with theधारा 77Whoever watches, or captures the image of a woman engaging in a private act in Voyeurism.धारा 78(1) Any man who—धारा 79Whoever, intending to insult the modesty of any woman, utters any words, makesधारा 80(1) Where the death of a woman is caused by any burns or bodily injury or occursधारा 81Every man who by deceit causes any woman who is not lawfully married to him toधारा 82(1) Whoever, having a husband or wife living, marries in any case in which suchधारा 83Whoever, dishonestly or with a fraudulent intention, goes through the ceremonyधारा 84Whoever takes or entices away any woman who is and whom he knows or hasधारा 85Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjectsधारा 86For the purposes of section 85, “cruelty” means—धारा 87Whoever kidnaps or abducts any woman with intent that she may be compelled, orधारा 88Whoever voluntarily causes a woman with child to miscarry, shall, if such miscarriage Causingधारा 89Whoever commits the offence causing death, Culpableधारा 101Except in the cases hereinafter excepted, culpable homicide is murder,––धारा 102If a person, by doing anything which he intends or knows to be likely to causeधारा 103(1) Whoever commits murder shall be punished with death or imprisonment forधारा 104Whoever, being under sentence of imprisonment for life, commits murder, shall beधारा 105Whoever commits culpable homicide not amounting to murder, shall be punishedधारा 106(1) Whoever causes death of any person by doing any rash or negligent act notधारा 107If any child, any person of unsound mind, any delirious person or
