The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, exempt any person or class of persons from the payment of stamp duties and fees under this Act. Such exemption may be granted on such conditions as the State Government may think fit to impose. The exemption granted under this section shall be subject to such modifications as the State Government may think fit to make.
