Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, is, by reason of unsoundness of mind, incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong or contrary to law: provided that nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, is, by reason of unsoundness of mind, incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong, or contrary to law, and this section while protecting such person exempts the act of a person from criminal liability who does an act likely to cause harm but does it without any criminal intent and to prevent other harm.
