The solitary confinement shall in no case exceed one month, and shall ordinarily be for a period of not more than fifteen days; but it may, in the discretion of the Superintendent, be for a longer period than fifteen days, but not exceeding one month, if the prisoner is of a class to which such longer period is allowed by the rules in force under section 59.
