The mandate of an arbitrator terminates when the arbitration proceedings are concluded, whether by an award or by an agreement of the parties on a settlement. The mandate of an arbitrator also terminates when the arbitrator withdraws from office or when the arbitrator is removed from office in accordance with the procedure for the removal of an arbitrator. Where the mandate of an arbitrator terminates, the arbitral tribunal shall, within thirty days from the date of the termination, notify the parties of the termination of the mandate.
