What does Section 54 of TPA say?

Every contract for the transfer of immovable property shall be in writing and registered under the Registration Act, 1908. The contract shall be signed by the parties thereto, and the signature of the parties shall be attested by a registrar or sub-registrar. The contract shall be registered within a period of six months from the date of its execution, and the registration shall be deemed to be a delivery of the contract.
