What does Section 59 of CPA say?

The Central Consumer Protection Authority may, with the prior approval of the District Collector, search and seize any document or record which is in the possession or control of any person or firm or entity. As per Section 59 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, 'The Central Consumer Protection Authority may, with the prior approval of the District Collector, search and seize any document or record which is in the possession or control of any person or firm or entity.' The Central Consumer Protection Authority may also search and seize any goods or services which are being sold or offered for sale in contravention of the provisions of this Act.
