What does Section 378 of Companies Act say?

If any person, being or having been a director, manager, secretary or other officer of a company, or being or having been an auditor of a company, or being or having been a liquidator or receiver of a company, or being or having been a person in charge of, or responsible for, the management of a company, or being or having been a person who has been in employment of a company, discloses any confidential information relating to the company or any of its subsidiaries or holding companies, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees, or with both.
