What does Section 206 of Companies Act say?

The Central Government may, by order, call upon a company to furnish, within such time as may be specified in the order, such information as may be specified in the order, relating to the company or any of its subsidiaries or holding companies, as the Central Government may deem necessary for the purpose of this Act.
