धारा 72

Where a contract is made with a person for the transfer of immovable property to him for a consideration to be paid in whole or in part only by instalments of money, or by services, or in any other manner, the contract shall be void in the following cases:— (a) where the whole of the consideration does not become due at or before the time when the whole of the property is transferred; (b) where a part only of the consideration becomes due at or before the time when a part only of the property is transferred; (c) where the consideration is to be paid wholly or in part by services, and the services have not been rendered at the time when the property is transferred.
