Statutory Content of Section 58

The Central Consumer Protection Authority may require any person or firm or entity to provide information relating to any complaint or unfair trade practice. As per Section 58 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, 'The Central Consumer Protection Authority may require any person or firm or entity to provide information relating to any complaint or unfair trade practice.' The Central Consumer Protection Authority may also require any person or firm or entity to produce any document or record which is in their possession or control.
