Statutory Content of Section 224

If, at any time, the Central Government is of the opinion— (a) that on account of circumstances existing in any State, it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, the Central Government may, by order, supersede the Tribunal for such period, not exceeding six months, as may be specified in the order, and while the Tribunal is so superseded, the Central Government may itself exercise the powers of the Tribunal.
