What does Section 88 of TPA say?

The mortgagor or his representative may, at any time after the date of the mortgage, make a contract with the mortgagee or his representative for the redemption of the mortgaged property, and such contract shall be binding on the parties thereto, and shall be registered in the same manner as the mortgage deed.
