What does Section 76 of Registration Act, 1908 say?

The Registrar or any other officer empowered in this behalf by the State Government may, by order in writing, require any person having the custody of any document to furnish to him, within such time as may be specified in the order, a copy of the document, or to produce the document for inspection, or to give information as to the contents of the document.
