What does Section 11 of Registration Act, 1908 say?

Every document required to be registered under section 17 shall be presented for registration within a period of four months from the date of its execution, and if the document is not presented within that period, it shall be presented within a period of four months from the date on which the power of presenting it first devolves on a transferee or a successor in interest.
