What does Section 55 of CPA say?

The salary and allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Chief Commissioner and other Commissioners shall be such as may be prescribed. As per Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, 'The salary and allowances and other terms and conditions of service of the Chief Commissioner and other Commissioners shall be such as may be prescribed.' The Chief Commissioner and other Commissioners shall not be entitled to any compensation or damages other than their salary and allowances.
