If the Central Government has, under section 83, superseded the Board of Directors of a company, it may, by order, appoint a manager or other officer to manage the affairs of the company, and the manager or officer so appointed shall have the power to exercise all such powers of the Board of Directors as the Board of Directors might exercise.
