What does Section 269 of Companies Act say?

If, at any time, the Central Government is of the opinion— (a) that on account of circumstances mentioned in clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 408, it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest; or (b) that a company or companies, whose names are specified in the order, are so situated that if the Tribunal were not superseded, it would be unable to function properly or to secure the liquidation of the company or companies, as the case may be, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order, supersede the Tribunal for such period, not exceeding six months, as may be specified in the order.
