What does Section 218 of Companies Act say?

If, at any time, the Central Government is of the opinion— (a) that on account of circumstances existing in any State or part thereof, it is necessary or expedient in the public interest so to do, the Central Government may, by order, supersede the Regional Director for such State or part thereof for such period as may be specified in the order.
