What does Section 100 of Companies Act say?

A Director shall vacate office if he incurs any of the disqualifications specified in section 164. A Director shall also vacate office if he is removed from office by a special resolution passed by the company in a general meeting. A Director shall also vacate office if he ceases to be a Director by virtue of the provisions of this Act or any other law for the time being in force.
